I must have been high when I wrote that..your right about 4.2 being too low.. I have found though that cardinals really shine and spawn in community settings in 5.8 to 6.0...

Please note any negative side effects or possible contraindications..????
Little stressed about adding baking soda..never did it before.. I guess crushed coral is better as it is a continuous buffer?
