So I've got floating plants that are growing above the waterline currently, say, 7 inches above the top of the tank.
It is an open top, all natural tank, and the plants are pretty much almost touching the light bulbs themselves.
My question is- if i suspend the light fixture (it's a standard shoplight) is there a way i can still direct light just into the tank without having light splash the whole area?
All i've thought about so far was like hanging something like short curtains along the edges of the shoplight, but if anyone has a design for altering the reflector to focus the light, that'd be a lot prettier.
