Happy 4th!

Yes, officially Happy Fourth! I know it must be because the hoodlums in the next door parking lot are setting off firework after firework!

Here in California it's still not the fourth yet, but thank you to all of our Canadian friends who still wish us Americans a happy 4th. You guys and gals rock!

On a side note:

your lack of common sense is surpased only by your spelling
Actually, his spelling was correct. But as Nursie pointed out already, yours could use a spell check. ;) Peace.

Happy 4th of July! Thanks. We even got earplugs for the kids this year. They like fireworks but the noise is too loud for them. I can't wait for tonight. Our musical yesterday went off without a hitch too. Hubby was up till 2am the night before coughing. He took some medicine @ 2am and was had a great voice for his solo Sun morning. I love giving tribute to all the troops, police, firemen, etc. who continue to ensure our freedoms. THANK YOU to ALL who have worked so hard so we could be FREE.   :bowing: :hi:

the fourth is okay, but the third is where its at, at least this year. COPS ONLY CAME ONCE!!!!!!! HAHAhaha ha ha ha ha ha. Good times

We had fireworks-just not the manmade kind!
We went up to our usual lake (Kanopolis), and as usual, the weather had fits. Rained out the fireworks show (they always have it on the weekend, whichever day is closest to the 4th), so we'll be back next weekend to see the show. Must admit, the lightning show was spectacular!! but...
The lake south of us, Cheney Reservoir, really got the crap knocked out of it!!
Straight line winds actually blew the marina over-upside down! They lost around 50 boats-still in their slips! One guy still missing...
Can't understand it-people actually decided they would stay on their boat & ride out the storm-when the shore is 50 feet away!! Boat capsized-they all made it out alive, thank god!!

Don't know if any of our other Kansans were out there...
