hara jerdoni owners?

They are sexy little guys. I am hoping that sooner or later my three will have some babies, but so far nothin. I am going to order probably two-three more later this month.

THey should eat blackworms no problem. Mine used to eat only at night, but every now and then I see them come out for a day feed as well.

Great pictures! Are they quite small, I think I read they get to about an inch and a quarter? What size tank do you have them in? And all five made it, that's great! Now I am really jealous.

Yeah, they are most likely adults. I am not to keen on ID-ing Erethistes(some are now claiming they are members of the Erethistes genus as opposed to Hara), but just be aware that there are several species that look similar to one another. They all seem to have similar care requirements

Cyclopeeze, mysis, daphnia, blackworms, would all make good choices. To be honest, I have never once seen a single one eat, but they've made it for a few months now at least, and don't seem to be losing weight so the assumption is that they're getting food from somewhere. IMO, I doubt they would take prepared foods, but never having seen them eat, I can't say for sure.

Most catfish, even tiny ones, will eat anything even remotely edible. I just won an aquabid auction for some different Hara catfish, real monsters that grow to 2". I'm thinking NLS Grow pellets, microworms, and frozen bloodworms should suit them pretty well.

heres a few more good pics i got today, i notice some have lighter colors than others. there getting around good so far but only been 1 1/2 days since i got them.
in the last 2 pics thats a blyxa plant beside the cat and they look huuuge compared to the fish. they are small but look great for such small fish
