Hard at work

So, following the move, I'm still working for my same employer, just remotely. Which means I can be at home, and still get in my 8 hours a day, and get WAY more done! I'm really liking it. Here's a pciture of me, hard at work.

That's Maggie, actually. We call her Magpie--she fetches, and helps with any number of tasks. I got up to move laundry around, and she cuddled up to the laptop. Now she's moved to the back of the couch, where she can supervise not just me, but also watch the dogs sleep on the floor and monitor the birds flying around the back yard. Such a cat!

Deb--does Sixx have more weird behaviors than your average cat? Magpie has more personality than any one cat should!

Yeah, I do to---though my @#%$&%$ laptop won't run wireless. The card seems to be tanked, though diagnostics say it's fine. Apparently, this particular model is having lots of problems--others have been sent back for repairs, and mine had to go back within the 1st week I had it because the CD/DVD drive crashed and burned--literally, as there was actually smoke coming from it. It works fine otherwise, though, so I'm just plugging in to the router rather than sending it back and being without a computer.
