hardscape placement opinons

I like #2 the most. Originating the branches in the back of the tank would make it a better fit though.
 
i think i got it where i want it now, the last and 2nd pic were my fav looks but the 2nd it seems like a total pain to try and gravel clean or even put your hand in there lol, ill probably sell the piece in pic 1 if anyone is interested in it let me know.

i had to cut off some of the branches to get the piece alittle further in the back. its branches are sticking out more than it looks. i have 1 side of the tank done but waiting for some new plants in the mail before i do the other side. the blyxa aubertii im trying to sell is hiding behind a bunch of crispus i may use in the scape not sure yet but i think the wood is good to go for now.

heres a pic of what i did today, not much difference in the wood just moved it back about 3-4" so its not on the front of the tank.tank is alittle hazy from me moving the plants 5 minutes before the shot but you can see it good enough lol.
