hardy snail eating fish?

thanks, just got a 2 inch clwon loach for my sump, after he finishes off the snail, I'll move him into my goldfish tank so he'll be better taken care of.

Also assassin snails (clea helena) eat snails. Had a huge snail problem and the 12-15 assassins really help Also just siphoning them out. Once we have them . . . good luck

how about freshwater puffers? as I have some big clown loaches in my main tank and worried new fish in my sump might carry ich.

Yes, I think loaches and other scaleless fish are more prone to Ich compared to other fishes with scales. But, they are highly sensitive to the ich meds and other meds. What fish do you have in your sump?

If they are feeders or something like that, then your tank water might all ready have some disease and stuff in it.
