Is the Harlequin Rasbora at all compatible with the Scarlet Badis? I couldnt find much info online, except that the Scarlets should only be kept with small, slow moving species. What would be a good quantity to get for my 10g?

Anyone know something about feeding Scarlet Badis? I got a LFS to order them for me!! Yay!

I don't think there would be a problem as R. heteromorpha are pretty fast and Scarlets aren't all that aggressive. I'm not sure if you would want more than a pair though... pretty sure that'd do for a smaller tank.

based on my exp. w/ the rasbora - I have none w/ Scarlets but have done some reading.

Scarlet badis are not at all agrresive, maybe when breeding though rasboras wont even notice the adis that much considering badis kind of pick a hideout and stay there.

Harlequins grow to about 1.75-2" from what I have heard meaning if you go by the 1 gallon per inch 5 is max stock in a 10 gallon tank. on the other hand scarlet badis are very small (just under an inch) meaning a full stock of those with the rule would be 10.
Anyways it is up to you but just be vary careful that you don't overstock that 10 gallon. I have a 20 and I am super careful not to overstock and keep an eye on my fish sizes and what they will grow to be (cause no one wants to give a fish away in a couple of years when it outgrows the tank!!!).
