Harlequin Rasboras Life expectancy

I don't know anything about kuhlies but maybe they could have eaten them...just a thought. But don't take my word, again, I know nothing about them.

I have a few in my school that have been with me for a good three years, maybe even a little more. In my experience they have been quite a hardy and easy to keep species.

what size are the kuhlies?
I'll never believe kuhlis would prey on harlies. They are not predatory nor have mouths designed for such thing. Besides, I had kuhlis with guppy fry before and they never even bothered to eat those. Kuhlis are not the culprits.

DarkDH, what species are these snails?

I agree with this, although if the rasboras were already on the way out, on the bottom of the tank, the kuhlis would definitely help make them disappear. But kuhlis would not snatch a healthy harlequin out of the water and eat it.

Hmm... the kuhlies do seem pretty fat...

I have your common ramshorns and MTS. I also noticed that all my shrimp are gone now.

My water tests out fine, and all the kuhlies and rasboras have a nice healthy color.

The rasboras are still a little bunched in the small jungle of vals I have, however now go for the food I put in. Still not their old active selves when they were all 9 rasboras.

Those rasboras sound scared to me...bunched...inactive...now go for food (which means they were not going for food)...that conduct remembers me of some bloodfins my dad had with rainbows (which ate most of the bloodfins). Now, I know that shouldn't happen and I haven't had any kuhlies but sometimes in fishtanks you have to be like in life; don't trust anyone. I would keep an open eye just in case.
