I will do some looking and see if I can't find out when it was last year. most of the time they stock up on the tanks right before the sale.

Sale started on the 24 of august last year but did NOT include the 40 breeder. Maybe you will get lucky this year

Call all your LFS and talk them down in price. Just tell them you're looking for the best price, and tell them what the last store offered.

I talked a 45g down from 120 to 90.
