Has your fish bitten you? What type and how did it feel?

My perc. clown (just like nemo) bites almost every time there's a hand in her tank... It does hurt a bit, but mostly it scares the [Insert word of choice here] out of me (kinda hard to believe that little 1" fish has such a hard bite)... there said to be able to draw blood as they get older.

I also had a betta who would jump out of the water to get at a finger...

I had a leopard shark in my salt water tank one time. He only turned aggressive at feeding time so being silly, my ex-husband put a piece of shrimp in the tank and then put his arm in the way when the shark was going to bite the shrimp. He said it felt like sandpaper rubbing on his arm. It didn't break the skin at all. I have been bitten by a batfish, emporer angel, passer angel, a lawnmower blenny tried to clean my arm, and many damsels. As far as freshwater goes, just last night my GBR gave my arm hell because I was putting a tank divider in there since they laid eggs on the gravel. As a matter of fact, I think the only thing freshwater that has ever bit me was the GBRs. They were always defending their eggs or fry though.

Ive been bitten by pbass and my O. Everytime I feed him, do a water change, or fix my plants, he viciously attacks me like I am invading HIS tank. I hand feed him like a moron, and hold krill in between my fingers. He insists on biting mi fingers tho. Its starting to hurt a little. Hes gettin to about 6". I was playing with my pbass and he bit me, so I ripped my hand out, and he came out too. lol. He fell on the floor. He was only abuot 2" at the time, but he was fine. As soon as I put him back in, he eat krill from my hand. It couldnt of been that stressfull...

Never been bitten but my lionfish stung me once, it hurt quite a bit.

My gold barbs and neon rosey barbs bite. It isn't the bite that hurts, it's when my skin gets caught on the lip of the tank that hurts. I've broken the skin on that before jerking my arm away.
