I found this little guy in the incubator last night. I'm not sure which female laid the egg that it hatched from but I would guess my red female by it's coloring. Should be a real looker when it gets larger. The rest of the eggs should be hatching soon. So anyone looking for crested geckos, let me know. I should have some for sale in the next month or so.

Here is a weird question. Are they social with people? Do they get to know their person or are they shy?

i'll take him/her how much you going to be asking for the little buggers? it's really cute and have to agree should look good once it grows a bit more

(hopefully it's a female because that what i need)

I haven't decided on a price yet. Something like $40-$50 which is a pretty good deal I think because they go for a lot more at shows and in pet stores. I'll keep you posted though.

Every gecko has it's own personality but for the most part Crested Geckos are very chill and don't mind being held. I wouldn't say they're smart enough to recognize your face (but I know monitor lizards do) but they do get use to daily handling for the most part. Both my female cresteds are super laid back, but the male is a bit of a spaz.

Here's a link to some pics Neoprodigy took of my cresteds being held by Msjinkd and I.

Congrats on the newbie to the family!

Awesome!

Awesome! Congrats on your new addition! How big was the egg? The gecko seems very large.

The eggs are about the size of a jellybean.
