Also to note about the hatchets, they are top dwellers, if you are looking for a fish as a centerpiece, mid level, these aren't the right fish for that either.

I have 3 silver hatchets in my 20 gallon. I love the little buggers. I would think that they would need something bigger then the 10 gallon you have because of their schooling needs. I would not go with anything less then 3 of them.
