I did doggie rescue and was a doggie foster mommie as well. Right now, I don't have any foster dogs, but all my personal dogs are rescues. My first doggie was a shelter rescue. She was eight weeks old and had parvo. Her outlook wasn't good, but my little fighter pulled thru. She is a husky/lab mix. Her name is Willow.
My second dog was an owner surrender. They said he was too hyper for them. *rolls eyes* He is just a typical pug. I love him to death and he is def. my dog. His name is Mojo Jo Jo.
My last dog is a AKC registered siberian husky. Another owner surrender. They got him when he was a cute puppy. He got big, and they didn't know how to deal with him anymore. They shaved him down. (A HUGE NO NO) They kept him in a crate waaaaay too small for him. He obviously wasn't getting enough attention or excersize. We have only had him for about a month. He is a very sweet, big boy. One of the tallest huskies I have seen. He is a beautiful dog. Completely white with the lightest blue eyes. His name is Dante.
