Congrats for the wigglers! I need to set up a spawning tank to my C. dimerus... they have been spawning like crazy for the last two months, but there's no way wigglers can survive with all the other fish around

Just a little update:
The fry are doing well and almost free swimming. They should be by tomorrow
I also changed 3/4 of the substrate in my community tank to play sand, I think it looks great. The driftwood is almost sinking so when that goes in it will look awesome. The tank is a bit cloudy from me messing with it so I'll take pics when everything settles down

Well here is some pics of my new substrate in my community tank :dance2: I still have a lot of scaping and planting to do in it, as well as put the driftwood in, it's so close to sinking in my pond.
The PVC pipes are temporary caves for the fish untill I collect more rocks lol.
Oh and just some pics of the fry, they are all doing well
On a side note: After about 6 spawns now, my male krib is beating up my female... I don't know why. It only happend after I did the substrate change.. Maybe stress? I don't know but I hope she gets better, her tail fin is a bit bitten up

Haha nice. Our snow is about 3 hours away so I only get to go like 10 times a season
Well the fry are eating like pigs which is great! I'm feeding them frozen (then thawed) daphina and crushed into powder NLS cichlid formula. They go nuts. They all school together and 'hunt'. It's quite cool.They have almost doubled in size but its so hard to get pics. Anyway, it's just great to see them all doing well and hopefully I will raise most of them to selling point Lookin good at this point.
