Mine won't go quite that fast
I know exactly what you mean about the military and bikes, I have friends at McDill.

The military does have extra rules and some actually make a lot of sense.

I'd love one of those, but I decided against a street bike.. I know myself too well, and I'd probab;y end up doing something stupid with a bullet right under me!!!...
I was looking at the Triumph Speed Triple. Awesome looking bike.. It's got that "raw power" look to it. And it has excellent reviews.. . But I think when I buy, it'll be a cruiser.. .
Beautiful bike though, just BE CAREFULL!!! (don't want to sound like your mom or anything, but they can get dangerous)
FL Knifemaker said:As soon as the Buell gets a new wiring harness, I'll sell it and get a cruiser. I need something the wife and I can ride two up. We can do it on the Busa but she'd prefer a cruiser. The Busa will be my solo ride! After riding both types of bikes since I was 16, I feel MUCH safer on a sport bike. They will accelerate out of trouble as well as brake much faster. The are much easier to flick around for accident avoidance as well. I'm much more "on edge" riding a cruiser type bike in traffic. All 3 serious accidents I've had were on cruiser bikes. I guess getting rear ended at a stop light doesn't quite count but........the other two probably could have been avoided if I had better brakes.![]()
