Can a fish tank mess up my asmah (sp?)?
I think that rather depends on if your asthma is very sensitive to allergies and what those allergies are. If you have attacks triggered by molds, fungii or other things you could expect to find in a fish tank, then yes, it could trigger attacks I should suppose. If your asthma is triggered more by physical exertion, cigarette smoke and the like, then you very well may be fine.

Good question, I have asthma too (hope thats what you meant ;) !!) I would think not unless you have some funky smells coming from the tank, I've seen people post some questions about that, my tanks have never smelled though. Or if a fish jumped out and decomposed, but it would have to be a pretty big fish!
I just found out I'm pregnant, so I'm starting to wonder if I can get some sort of weird fish disease now! I'm sure we'll all be fine :D

Good point with the mold Harlock!! If that is something that bothers you, it might be worth having someone else keep the underside of your lids well cleaned

I am prone to allergic reactions, and so everytime I go to feed my fish I would start sneezing - not because of the water, but because of the food - weird.

I hadn't thought of that either :duh: some of the fish food has some really odd ingredients, plus if you have any fish allergies... I can see how that would bother some people too! Kasakato, have you ever had any problems before?

Are you having a lot of trouble with your asthma lately? If you have seasonal allergies and/or mold allergies, this time of year can really be rough: snow mold and all sorts of tree allergens have been a problem around here lately. Alder and poplar are pollenating right now, birch should be starting soon.

I have massive allergies. They tested me for... I dunno how many things and I tested to allergic for everything they threw at me aside from one thing: cockroaches.
