I need a bit help with heater issue. I'm looking to set up my 2.5g and I'd like to get a heater for it. When I have a 5g bucket full of water, it gets around 65 degrees in here so I defintely can't keep a betta or any other type tropical fish happily at that temp.
So far, I've looked at this and this one
I'm not too sure if the 7.5 watt has something that will regulate the temperature, I couldn't see anything like it.
I need some help in picking out the heater that will be better suited for my 2.5g :dive:
Thanks for your time.

The visitherm stealths are nice heaters - if it fits in your tank, get it. It will work fine - it won't need to stay on long at any one time to heat your tank, and will last a long time.

Worth checking out the Hagen Thermal Compact mini 25watt, they're a reliable small heater I bought one for my first tank about 15 years ago, it's still working fine.

Mmmm, ok thanks for your feedback. I was concerned that 25 watts might be overkill for a such small tank.

Actually a 25 what heater will be more efficient for your tank than a smaller wattage because it doesn't have to work as hard to get the temperature up where you need it - the lowest wattage heaters I use are 50's in my 5g tanks.

Thanks everybody for your help. The links to Dr. Foster & Smith looks smiliar to the one at big al. I'm still leary of those type heater. I've never use those before and I couldn't really see if theres therosmat controller.
I guess I'll go ahead with the 25 watt.
