heater for a 55g

how many watts should i have for a heater in a 55g tank? thanks

I am using a 200w model as that is what came with my 55g kit. But if I were to buy one I would go with a 250w or maybe even two 150w ones.

Depends on the climate.

I have two 200 watts heaters for my 55 gal...but it's at my parents house in a cold climate.
