Heater recommendation

Based on your experiences... what is the best brand of heater? I'm looking to buy and have previously purchased Visi-Therms and have had no problems myself, but have heard of the leaking with others. So I was wondering what everyone elses opinion was....

I have a visi therm and love it. I think marineland makes exelent products. I think the number one heater is ebo-jager though. Ive never seen them or used them, but people speak very highly of them.

I have a visitherm and have had no problems with it but next time I'm getting a heater with an external temp control like this Heater.

I have a tronic and it works great, no problems, very stable water temp (and the room temp changes 5 or 6 F through the day in the winter).

I use two Ebo-Jagers on my 29 and dig them well enough. They live up to their claims on accuracy. My water seems never to fluctuate and if the temp is a little off in my change water, the Ebos will bring it right back in line in very little time. I'll put some Tronic heaters in my 125 when I get it because I hear nothing but good things about them.

I used to use only Visa-Therms (both styles) and have found they only last 2-3 years tops. They start to fog up and eventually burn out on me. I switched over to Ebo-Jagers 2 years or so ago. Found them to be far better then the Visi-therms. Recently Ive started to change over to Pro-Heat II titanium heaters and so far so good.

I have a Visa-Temp and its doing fine, its off my a degree or so but I can live with that.

I also have a Ebo for my QT tank. Its the best heater Iv ever seen. Its totaly on the dot and the temp. never changes.
