Heater Recommendations

Hi,

I am looking for a pair of heaters for a 75 gallon tank. Can anyone recommend a good brand o use. I also need a heater for QT tanks in the garage (a 10 gallon and a 20 gallon), so brand recommendations would be appreciated. I imagine I could get several of the same brand...

I like the Marineland brand of submersible heaters, they make either the Neptune or Visi-Therm Stealth.
 
I use Marineland's Visi-Therm Stealths, i've got a 50 and 100 watt version and they both do the job excellently.

For your 75G, you can probably pick up 2 200watt versions.

As for the 10G and 20G, i have the same tanks and they use 50 and 100 watts.
 
Yea....I'm sold on visitherm stealths myself now, too....changing out all my tanks to them over time....they have been reliable and sturdy with larger cichlids...usually they can be found for very good prices on the internet
 
I also bought Visitherm Stealth heaters now. I printed the web prices at petsmart.com out, and they matched these prices at a local Petsmart. This way, they were very cheap (about half of what they actually wanted to have).
 
My Ebo-Jagers are almost 7 years old and I have had no problems (other than needing new suction cups) :)

I also find Ebo-Jager a very good brand of heater.
I also use Tronic as well,although I have had issues in the past with them because of faulty thermostats right out of the box.
A couple of people I know highly recommend Won brothers titanium heaters as well.If you have large aggressive fish these are a good choice because the fish can't break them.
