my tank has been cycled for a little over a month. i accidently left the heater unplugged overnight.. it was down to about 72 this morning.. (its a 12g so it cools fast).

Are all my microorganisms and things dead? Should I expect another cycle? thanks.

I dont think you have too much to worry about....I have gone without power overnight before and all has been fine and well after power resumes...and that was with corals etc...

Ya you should be fine. I made a little mistake and left my windows open one day last week with my heater unplugged(I think I forgot to plug it back in after setting lights on timers) and My room was about 50 degrees and the tank was about 68 degrees when I got home. Everything seems to be fine.
