heater?

hi, i checked the temperature of the water in my tank yesterday, and it was 69 degress F. i know that isnt too cold for most fish, my worry is that in the winter however it will get to cold as we dont really heat the house at all to conserve on gas. im wondering what heater i should get for my 20 gallon tank. i want something that will turn on and off automatically. and i have no idea of what wattage. Thanks!

You need a 100W heater. All aquarium heaters turn off and on as needed by themselves.

With the fish you have in the tank you should already have a heater as they are tropical fish. And I would recomend getting a 100w Stealth heater they are accurate and no flucuations.

i use Submersible heaters. i really like them. i use the Visi-Therm heaters, they seem to work good for me.

I would have to agree with Mgamer20o0 submersible is a good way to good. Although I like Jager heaters, which is made by Eheim.
