I would have to disagree. Stealth heater were good heaters a couple years ago. Reacenty, it seem the quality has gone down hill. Myself and many others have sworn off Stealth heaters becuaseof the increased failure rate. If you go to MonsterFishKeepers.com, you will find more then a couple of thread bashing Stealth heater. I have switched to Jager Heaters.

The old Stealths are good. It's the new Stealth Pros you should try to avoid.

over in little old NZ never heard of the stealth ones but apparently fluval make a pretty good one, and top of the range would be the jager heaters, i personally have bought semi cheap ones and never had a problem with them, i guess depends on your fish though and if they have a heater attacking fetish

the original stealts are great heaters, However, the new Stealt Pro has a pretty bad track record so far.

I have 7 stealths, and now 3 pros. Hoping not to have the issues i have seen others having.
