Heath Ledger has DIED!!!

****...what a shame..

he was in knights tale (which is almost constantly on HBO) pretty good movie, the patriot as mel gibson's son and 10 things i hate about you also, was a getting to be a really good actor in alot of movies

I met him on the set of 'The Patriot'...shocking news.

let this be a lesson to you kids out there....DONT DO DRUGS!

A terrible loss for the industry, his friends, and family. I first read about in on Perez Hilton (classy, I know), and I couldn't believe it. I really enjoy most of his movies; they'll never be the same! It really is a shame...

Anyone else have a new found urge to watch 10 Things I Hate About You, Brokeback Mountain, or the Patriot?

no, NEVER, and yes.

;)

what a horrible loss to hollywood, not to mention his family.. i never saw him as one of the actors that had all kinds of drama and strife, etc etc.. i figured he was one of the few that had their head screwed on straight.

I feel so bad for his family, and His daughter, and everyone he has touched in his short life. Wonder if it was an accident or not...it seems to be happening to alot of younger stars. My heart goes out to his family and friends.

In a past interview, he sounded very depressed, talking about death and dying. One more reason to realize that depression is not something to be looked down on, laughed at, or whatever. It's a serious illness/disease that doesn't always show itself; when it does and you see it, help the person, or look for help yourself. If a person has never experienced real, clinical depression, they can't even conceive of the pain and darkness in the sufferer's soul. This is what I heard in his voice. It's a real loss; I thought he was great in A Knight's Tale and The Patriot. I couldn't finish Brokeback; real cowboys don't herd sheep!!!!!!!!!!!!
