Heavy tanks in mobile homes?

Also do not place multiple tanks all on one end of te house.... I had 4 55 a 75 and a 180 in a back beadroom of my old mobile and it actually caused a lean to that corner of the house over time.... :-)

I actually asked the bf about this this am he has lived and worked in older mobile homes for years and he is a contractor he says go for it he said that if you are worried put the tank where it will be on the main metal brace of the house, then go under it and block the part where the tank will be with cinderblocks and, just to be safe put a piece of plywood a little bit bigger than the stand under it to distribute the weight a bit more but the extra blocking may not be needed if the house is well set with blocks under it every six feet or so..

the extra blocks help we have a giant tv and a 30 gallon tank all on one side of the room along with a really old heavy woodstove and no one has fallen through yet!
