OH nooo.. i just bought a nice piece of live rock from the fish store..

And to my surprise, I found 2 crabs hiding inside one of the little caves.... BUT i just started my tank less than 2 weeks ago... i dont think the water is ready.. what should i do??? My test kit doesnt arrive until friday.... i dono the levels of anything.. WHAT should i dooooo, i dont want the crabs to die

If you are worried about the crabs dying, do what you can to get them out and take them back to your LFS. They *shouldn't* have any problem with taking them back.
 
THey are porcelin crabs, and they wont come out
 
Take the rock out of the water and spary fresh water in there hole. that usually gets them out.
 
I really don't like using FW on live rock, or crustaceans for that matter. Either enlarge their hidey holes to get them out, or just leave them.

Porcelain crabs are very tough, and I am willing to bet they'll make it through the curing process if you do water changes to keep the ammonia levels below 1 ppm. I have had dozens of those guys make it through introduction of TBS live rock.
