No doubt in my mind you shall have baby platies aplenty in less than a week...prolly 3-5 days. Put her somewhere where she will give birth alone and the babies will have a place to quickly hide from Mom. Some bushy, tall plants (plastic or real, whichever you prefer) will work fine. Let Mom stay by herself for a few days to recover afterwards.

Heh, guess I needed to look a bit more closely at the pics...the babies will need to be kept away from that power filter strainer I see in the background of pic #2. If you can't find a sponge pre-filter at your LFS, you might be able to get a piece of open cell foam at a Home Depot or similar store. If you can blow air through it and feel it come out the other side, you can use it. If not, look for another type of foam to use. Those babies will be small enough to get sucked into your filter and they most likely will not survive the trip through the impeller.
Good luck!

Yout tank should be ok If, You get a hornwort bunch and float in the tank, and wrape some filter padding around the intake strainer to keep the fry from getting sucked in.
I had a Mooly had fry on my 75g and I didn;t even know it untell I was going through my hornwort one day and found a fry in it, so then I left it there and hoped to find more, needless to say, it was the only one.
If ou didn;t know, you can put Platties, Moolies, sword tails in brackish water, they thrive in it, mine I got from a friend was small enough for feeders, they grew at a pretty good rate to, and there color of the two swords is great.

Thank you so much, I'm off to my local LFS for a pre filter, and some more plants! I wasn't done planting this tank yet... just got paid, so ... :D ... I get more fish stuff!

Nice platy!

Yeah, just make sure you get some bushy plant like hornwort or anacharis. Plus, they are nice-looking and low maintenance plants that will suck up the excess nitrate.
