Hi!
Well thats that out of the way!
Ive not long started my 'new hobby.' So far im attempting to keep fancy goldfish. The tank is a 180l and has been running for 3 months, but it has only had fish in it for 2. So far i have 1 red cap oranda, 2 ranchu's, 1 lion head, two blackmoors, and a tiny pearl scale, along with two plecos.
One of my ranchu's has a bacterial infection on one side of his gill. I have treated the tank with tetra tonic (it turned the whole tank green for a few days) and ive also placed some tonic salt in the water. The infection seems to be growing by 1mm a day. its not affecting the other fish in anyway i can see, all of them are still eating and swimming around very merrily, please help!
before this tank i had a 50l, in it i kept my infected ranchu, (he wasnt infected then) the oranda, and 2 shubunkins. that tank was running for around 6 months before i seen the error of my ways.
