Hello there,
Just introducing myself. I am not new to aquariums, always had one in one form or another, from reef tanks to freshwater. Right now I have a 72 gallon bow front that is a freshwater setup. It was a reef tank for years, but after a problem a couple years ago I finally took it down a few weeks ago and setup my present freshwater setup. I like the natural setups, that is how I did mine. Since it was a reef tank I have very strong lighting, i took out the 10,000k's and put in 4-65 watt 6700k PC's, and left in my 175 watt metal halide, I built the hood myself, it is very hard to find one already made. I also used my sump, my chiller, a Eheim canister, and added a 250 magnum . The plants are growing like crazy! I also setup a DIY CO2 reactor.
I also have many other hobbies, my favorite is restoring my '68 Mustang, and I also have a '86 GT, fun cars!
God Bless!
