Hello Aquariacentral! Introduction to myself :)

Hello all!

Female hailing from the coldest region of the U.S.!

I am new to the forums and a new aquarium owner. I currently have 5 red eyed tetras, one yellow lab, and one algae eater in a 30 gallon tank. I recieved the tank as a congratulations gift from graduating police academy. I am currently having a problem with one of my tetras and will post a question about it under a different thread.

Welcome, is the yellow lab causing any problems for your tank?

The only problems I've had with it was when algae levels were low for the algae eater I threw a wafer in for it and the yellow lab ATE IT ALL! He is looking pretty bloated today after that.

Also I made the mistake of trying to put a couple dwarf gouramis in the tank with it and he chased them around the tank. Had to return them

But over all he gets along well with the current fish and leaves them alone for the most part and spends his day going from hiding spot to hiding spot picking at the rocks and decorations
