I'm a newbie here from Canada and just wanted to introduce myself. I got "into fish" about 5 years ago by purchasing a 210 gallon tank. I know, nothing like jumping right into it. The opportunity came up and we just took it. It's a community tank and I must say, it's been a blast filling it. (My husband says he's going to put a cap on this soon) VERY addictive though. LOL Currently in my tank I have:
4 bala sharks (7 inches)
6 Tinfoil barbs (2 of them albinos)(5 inches)
6 Giant Danios
3 Weather Loaches
4 Clown loaches
1 Common Pleco
1 Bristlenose Pleco
7 Black skirt Tetras
1 African Butterfly Fish
1 Bumblebee Catfish
2 corys
1 Blue "lobster" (about 7 inches)

They all seem to get along just fine. I just started introducting live plants to the mix and I feel if I want to keep going that route, Pierre, (the lobster) is going to have to find another home. He's literally eating my whole tank!! He also use to be the boss of the tank... everybody gets out of his way at feeding time, but now that the barbs are bigger, they tend to be the head honchos in the tank.
Looking forward to posting here and becoming a part of this community.
