Hi there,

My name is Ed.

Myself and my lovely girlfriend Claire have recently set up a new aquarium in our house and are new to the world of fish-keeping.

We filtered our tank for 3 weeks and then purchased a 100W heater so we can keep tropical fish. After another week or so we decided to buy some fish...

So far we have introduced 3 guppies, 3 Plat, 6 various tetra, 2 ram and 2 fireshrimps.

So far so good - we have not lost any of them in a week and apart from a suspected pregnant guppy who is attracting a lot of attention from 3 of the tetra fish, there has been no hostility.

We'd just like to say a big hello to everyone here!

If anyone can confirm the pregnancy signs of female guppies it would be really appreciated!

HI ED. MY NAME IS SOTT& I RAISE FANCEY TAIL GUPPIES. U CAN TELL IF THEY R GOING TO HAVE BABIES BY LOOKING AT THE STOMACH. IT WILL BE BLACKESH , IF THATS A WORD.LOL.SOMETIMES IF THEY ARE CLOSE ENOUGH TO GIVING BIRTH. U CAN SOMTINES SEE THEM INSIDE OF HER. BUT IF U WANT THE FRY TO LIVE U NEED TO GET A BREEDER B0X.IF NOT EVERYONE WILL HAVE A FEAST. THEN PUT THE FRY IN ANOTHER SMALL TANK TILL YHE GET BIGT ENOUGH...GOOD LUCK
