I used to lurk here a few years back to get info about getting my first tank going then life and lack of money interfered and had to give up everything. I can't for the life of me remember exactly the type of fish I had except for 3-4 CAE's.
I am glad despite my wife's nagging that I did not give up any of the equipment. I have it stored away in the corner of my basement. I was cleaning my basement the other day and came across it and thought, "I want to get this going again".
Although I have more time now, money is still limited. I figured I have the bulk of the equipment already, It will cost me money to get my fish - which at first I am not going with anything exotic, just something to get back into the swing of things till the economy gets better.
I can't remember what I have for equipment but I am going off of memory here:
50 - 55 gallon tank
(2) 250 watt Jager Heaters
Fluval 405
AquaClear 110 HOB (I think)
I am at work so that is off my memory from a few years ago :duh:
I guess my first task is cleaning the room where the setup will go, clean up everything, see what I need, fill the tank and cycle it.
Then figure out what to stock it with :lipssealedsmilie:
Anyway, enough about me for now.
