My name is Duane. I'm new to forums and think this is probably the best place to start. I've just opened a new aquarium store and have all the freshwater supplies and stock in place. I am now plagued with the descision of what biomedia to use for my saltwater system. I am torn between sintered glass media, bio-balls and lava-rock. I will be using 500 gallons for biomedia as well as the lifegard aquatics M-6 mechanical filter system with the QL-160 UV Module. I haven't decided which type of protine skimmer to use either. I will be running a series of 40, 20 gal. tanks as well as 20, 50 gal. tanks. Any comments are apreciated.
