ok... some introductions.
I haven't kept fish for years; i was a fish killer back about twenty years ago, but only recently picked up a tank from my in-laws. it's a 50g AGA, 36x18x18. i went out and splurged on an eheim 2263, triple-tube light, and various bits and pieces... currently stocked with 6 amazon swords, and fish-wise 6 tiger barbs and 12 glofish(tm! in sunburst orange). i've been watching the water chemistry daily, and i have to say that either the plants have made cycling really simple, or the Cycle & Bio-Spira really really work!
i'm trying to keep the pH down, as it's been climbing up and up, but the addition of some driftwood seems to be doing the trick. i'll post more in various threads as i need to. just wanted to say hi!
oh. i'm in the boston west suburbs, and love Tropic Isle for a LFS... whew, it's amazing!
