Help! anemone question

I recently set up 2 nano's, one 5 gal and the other a 1 gal. The 5 gal has cycled with the use of live rock only. I set up the 1 gal cube a couple of days ago with the purchase of a small piece of live rock from a local, small pet shop (not very
knowledgeable re: aquariums, but have some marine stuff). When I put the rock in my nano, 3 small, brownish anemone's (condy's?) appeared later that evening. My salinity is too low but I'm working on getting it to .024 and it has yet to cycle. I would hate to have these cuties perish so need some advice please!
I had a reef tank several years ago, but never ventured into inverts, just live rock and fish. My knowledge is limited so any and all help will be appreciated.

Should I put the rock into my 5 gal? I feel they have already suffered from the not so delicate handling of the pet shop lacky so I've left them alone so far.
What to do?

Okay, so after a little research it seems this guys are little pests and I should get some peppermint shrimp soon. ...and here I thought they were cute! LOL
 
My guess is they are mayano or aiptasia anemones. Google to confirm. If they are, then you most likely don't want them
 
There is no need to add a shrimp unless you want it. You can take the rock out and burn them off. I used a soldering iron and it worked. You can also squirt hot water on them.
 
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Whilst I personally think Aiptasia and Manjanos are pests, we have people who buy them where I work because they like them. :)

If you do want to get rid, lemon juice and Kalkwasser works. Just mix it up and syringe a little bit into the mouth of each one.
 
yea lemon juice works just fine but I would be careful in a small tank like that the lemon juice well drop your PH , I find hot water work well just use a turkey baster

I'm just going to let 'em hang out for now. I've kinda grown attached, :) I don't have anything else in there to worry about and I hate killing things! I really didn't have any plans for the nano yet anyway, so I'll give them a home and see what happens.

Cool I still keep a few in my aquarium 3 kinda big guys , My 2 peppermint shrimp eat the little ones but dont bother the 3 larger. I kinda like them anyway and had them there for over a year now and no problems
