lol no for food cuz my mom was studying and my dad was at work, my dad owns a crown moulding business, so i helped him out
got paid a nice ammount of money for it
heres my 10, my 125 ill post when i go to my dads house
my parents just got divorced about a year ago, so they have seperate money banks which meant more **** for me

I like your tank. The Bamboo will rot if it stays submerged, fyi. Do you have a lighting fixture?. 10 gal qt is a great idea

yeah, its above, its 1 that covers the full top and is hard to move, i had to get a good 1 cuz i have cats
lol patches of grass, its breeding grass i had 4(they were 4x4 16 little individual grass tiffets each) and i punched out M-A-R-K in it lol, i took out the A bc food got trapped under it for the BGK

To grow any sort of plants you'll need fluorescent lighting. If you're not, then any lighting works.

and a useful tip for beginners: Don't use filter cartridges, just throw em out and replace em with extra biological filtration. The proper method of cleaning is to soak the filter media every month, which can be used until it's falling apart and not doing an efficient job of filtering.

Don't throw em out before you get the extra filtration, lol. Wedge both in while you're doing the cycle, wait a couple weeks after it's complete and then take the cartridge you have now out.
That might be enough to grow java moss, but if you want to try for planted you should look into a light upgrade.
