Help betta has lump on face

Ok so my male red betta has had this patch of darker red scales on the side of his face for as long as I have had him(3 months or so)anyway the last month it has gone from being a patch to a big lump.It didnt seem to affect him but one morning I noticed some fungus on it so I moved him to a hospital tank.I treated with some salt, melafix and added some epsom salts to see if it would draw out the infection.After a week he went back into the community tank as all the fungus was gone and the lump seems to have closed over(but still sticks out).

So do you think its still going to be a problem?It doesnt seem to affect him at all and he still eats well and is very active.

Thanks for the replies, he seems fine apart from the lump.He's always been active and this doesnt seem to phase him.He still shows off to his lady and chases my hi fin red platy around.

I'll get a pic and you can see what you think.

My dogs has some little benign lumps on him. Just a thing of aging the vet said. My guess is that occassionally fish get lumps on them as well. I saw many a fish at the boston aquarium with lumps and it didn't seem to bother them.
