HELP!! betta moldy? AND Bloated fish?

OK! first off, i DID do a search of the forums. Next, she was acting kind of weird (my betta), and i came home from the fire staion today, and saw she was moldy. Like, her mouth and little parts of her body look kinda moldy. But, she does swim up to get air.
Before I left, she just didnt seem kind of right, and she'd twitch. LIke a seizure or something.

I have an african butterfly that is bloated, and seems almost dead, he's on his side. I dont know what to do with him.. He was fine before I left to the station, too.

I do 24 hours shifts there, if that helps at all.

Yikes! Sounds like it could be columnaris - a nasty, fast moving, bacterial infection. It could be fungus, but what looks like fungus is often columnaris and the speed of the infection (<24h) sounds like columnaris to me.
First off, a large water change can't hurt anything. The cleaner the water, the better the chances are the fish will heal.
Next, test your water if you've got test kits - your fish might be sick as a result of stress caused by a buildup of ammonia/nitrites in your water (water changes will help significantly if this is the case)
Google columnaris, fungal infections, bacterial infections etc. and see if you can diagnose the fish. If other symptoms arise, post them and hopefully someone can help out. Try calling your LFS and asking their advice (if they have knowledgable staff) once you know what the fish have.

OK! thank you, I shall look that up. I put in some melafix, thought that couldnt hurt at all. She seems to be acting better, but, her mouth still looks fungusy. I have another betta in with her, i guess i can move her into the 2.5 i have.

Also, the african betterfly passed away. That's too bad.
