Hi, my male betta is in a 12 gallon eclpise. Everything has cycled, so i decided to add 3 small Panda cories, well i acclimated them and about a week later, i was looking at them, and one of them had his tail ripped off, another was shreaded. I thought the betta would get along with them? Is it just his personality? i already had to get rid of the one with no tail. What should i do?

From what I have heard these guys must differ quite a bit from beta to beta. I have the exact same setup as you. Beta in with 3 pandas and a couple other cories.....with very minimal issues. Beta flares up every now and then but thats about it.

Yep, betta personalities are can go pretty extreme.
I've seen bettas that run&hide and those who attack anything that ressembles another fish.
Sorry, but it sounds like your betta is a pretty aggressive one. :(

Dont just get rid of one panda...that does not solve anything, either get rid of all the pandas or the beta...or put them in separate tanks if you can. I would say get rid of the beta and keep the pandas, that way you could get another fish or 2.......cause sounds like your beta needs to be on his own.
