My fiance and I recently bought a clown knife (decent sized but not huge) to put in our 180 gallon tank for our new apartment, we were holding him in a 30 for a couple of weeks and now the people that were going to sell the tank to us (private type deal) can't anymore. We were supposed to pick it up on a Saturday, so friday night we put him in a cycled ten gallon and sold the 30 in a garage sale on Saturday morning :sad I know right? We have really fallen in love with our knife, but all we have now is a ten for him to live in!! I don't know what to do!!

I'd just hurry and go to walmart and pick up the 55gallon set up with everything for around $160.
55 would be cool for a african, but not a clown knife. Clowns get HUGE!!!! I would say def. go for the largest tank your expenses can allow. If not, I'd say retun him untill you have your large set up ready to go. Good luck!
