*HELP* DISCUS sitting on tank bottom

awesome! gotta love successful recovery stories... way to stay with it, man! this has been one very interesting thread to follow!

OK - Well they are doing Good! SO far so good. I don't see any clamped fins and I don't see anyone breathing out of one gill anymore. I wont say that I am 100% done with this But I think I am over the Hump. They are all starting to eat agresively! I will keep a watchfull eye and continue to change water at the new rates. I will also continue to report my findings!

Thanks again,

That's great! It's all about the water, with Discus. Someone on SD has in his signature: Take Care of Your Water and the Discus Will Take Care of Themselves.

So true.

Keep up the good work!!:woot::woot:

Thanks to you for all the help, I am learning.

WELLLLLL - Poop!

Both the Melons seem to be favoring one Gill now. They look good but not Supper hungry. I can only assume its flukes with them? I am doing a water change in the PM so We will see what happens.

ALSO - I tried to take pics But I don't know how to zoom them and keep it clear. I am posting them BUT, the Brilliant blue has something weird on his left side. Kinda above/behind his eyes? Sorta looks like 2 tinny flakes of skin - clear-ish/white looking. He is doing great and I only noticed this today. He may have bumped into something today, I just don't know? What do ya think?

I think this has come to an end - a GOOD one. They look fine today. The skin seems to have healed or fell off as I don't see anything tonight. The melons look better and only one is showing any sighn's at all and its intermiten. I think they will be fine. Once they start eating well I am sure that will be the End! Tank looks good - Fish Look AWSOM. Thank you all very much for your help threw this.

I jUst copied and pasted this

OK - SOOOO, I just got back home from a 3 day trip and I had a buddy feed and look over my fish while I was gone. Some of you may remember the other thread about the troubles I had with my Discus. They are now all Eating and Look very good except for two of them.

Some of you may remember In the end of the last thread I mentioned something white on the head of my Brilliant blue. WELL after being gone for 3 days it seems to me that I now have a Hole In The Head Problem. Not only that But Its showing up on the Turk also. There are noticable spots where the flesh has bin eaten away forming a cavity of sorts and you can see fungus in some of thoes spots. The only thing that throws me off is that I can see 1 small white dot on the Brilliants tail right where his boddy area ends (on the body area) if that makes cence? The Briliant is more advanced than the Turk but they both have it! I dont see it on anyone else Yet but I guess I am screwed nomatter what!

I plan to seperate them into a hospital tank tomarow (I gota go get the tank) and start agresive treatments and possible salt baths. WHat do you guys think??? WHat should I do for the rest of the fish in the tank? Anything? What would you advise for treatment? I just got home a few Hrs ago so I am stuck till tomarow. THEY are eating well and looking fat and happy other than that but to me HITH is freking major! Please let me know what ya think.

Thanks, Arkangel77:help:
