HELP: Filter (Eheim 2213) Leaking!

yes that's my worry. I'm going to call CS tomorrow, see what they say (I'm well within the 2 year warranty period). If they won't send me a replacement part I'll just order one.

Well good news. They're sending a replacement, free of any type of charge. I just needed to forward them my recite from when I bought the filter (probably to make sure it's within the warranty period). This just adds to the list of why I'm such a fan of Eheim

:grinyes:

okay. This exact same thing just happened to me a week ago. Same part same everything but an eheim 2215.

I'm in the process of replacing the pump head cover now.

for the record I tried a temporary fix with loctite 2 part marine epoxy and it broke off.

That same customer service is pretty much standard with all major brand filter like Fluval, Marineland, AC, exc, exc.

The important issues with a major band that usually cost us hundreds isn't the customer service but whether the problem is a defect and recurring issue, usually not but it does happen either becasue of design or a new outsourced supplier overseas making the parts poorly out of cheaper materials for the manufacturer who no longer manufactures. Like the SunSun /C-series connection.
