My blue dolphin was mouth brooding for a long time. I tried to put her into the carantina tank two days ago. When I tried to catch her, she threw up a few babies. I hardly catched the babies and the mom. In the carantina tank, mom threw up other babies. We had 18-20 baby dolphins.
Yesterday when I looked to the tank, most of them were dead. only 4 of them survived.
Now I'm a little bit concerned about their health. I don't want to lose them. I feed them with baby grains 6 times a day. They look very healthy, they are trying to swim with their little transparent wings.

How can I make them to grow fast and be healthy? I need some tips and advices from you experienced guys. Please help me.

They look healthy to me.
Feed them finely crushed flake's and they'll start to grow in no time.

Wow. I wish you the best - - I love the blue dolphin. I'd hate to find out that your little ones don't make it.

if and when mom breeds again i would remove her from the main tank to another tank and let her rear her young, if she is still small to medium size a 20gal should work as a nursery, add some rocks and she should do great, once she stops letting her fry into her mouth then i would remove her after you think she has recovered from the mouth brooding and has packed some weight back on from routine feedings and placed back in the main tank. with the fry alone and with feedings water changes will be a must,
because if you feed the babies alot then the water will foul quickly so keep up on that and honest i would do a 20% water change each day this will aid in the growth of the babies live brine and some crushed flakes about 4 times a day should be fine, as for the babies you have right now with out their mom if you are keeping them in a breeder net i can see why you are having fatalities, fry in nature when released either on purpose or accidental seek shelter in rocks and crevices to avoid predation from other fish its an instinct that they have and in a breeder net will often cause more stress than anything else so i would most def do a nursery tank and as well with the foods mentioned above should work as well along with frequent water changes, good luck aye..

do you know of a place to purchase them because I have a small one about 5 inches, and the other didn't do well and died of but they're fascinating and I want to have a schoal of them.

Check with your local fish store they may be able to get them in for you if not there are a lot of on-line stores that sell them but will be far more expensive.. Google on line fish stores..

I totally agree with this. Adult fishes will always try to eat the fry through a breeder net. I even have read about people loosing many fry in an hour or so, because adult cichlids suctioned the babies and killed them trying to eat them. With plastic breeder traps, adult cichlids will swallow the fry through the tiny holes.
