My mudskipper has not eaten since I got him (2 days). The store fed him once a day. I got the exact food they fed it, frozen bloodworms. the rest my fish love them. the mudskipper is dark brown and tan at top. he sits around alot with acasinal swims :dive: . I am prety sure thats normal. When I had to readjust the filter, He was placed in a bowl, and jumped in the air and I had a tricky time catching him, but he wasn't on the room carpet for long, but he did make it to the kitchen tile, wich was 15-20 feet away. how can I get him to eat??

My friend has one it likes to eat ghost shrimp and crickets. he removes the crickets back legs and puts them in a shallow dish so they do not drown in the water. He also keeps the tank pretty warm. Hope this helps.

You just gave me an idea!! I need a cleaner for the water. ghosts are $1 a piece but because of the january sale its buy one get one. These are harmless, poteintial foods. I will try them to see if they will be cleaner or feeder

For know he needs to eat his BW. how can I get him to calm enough to?

Yikes! my LFS sells these 10/$1.00 they are in the tanks next to the goldfish a buck a piece is alot. As far as calm they come from a swamp area do you have alot of plants and structures for it to bask and hide under. My friend has driftwood and pothos plants. He is kinda hard to find but he allways looks content.

Problem found. The heater got unpluged accedintally. I found this out by seeingthat there was no condesation on the walls, then putting my finger to the glass were the water was onthe other side, and finally reading the temp: 60F. he has legless crickets and frozen bloodworms ahead of him, but the temp must be affecting his energy. Give him an hour and see how he is thats what I'll do

I'll mail you $10 (plus tax), and you mail me 100 shrimp :sim: :dance2:
is the swamp where they come from private? are they quarintined or tested for parasites? you said they came from the swamp

I do not know if yours are captive born or wild caught. But where they naturally live is swampy land, lagoons and river estuaries. They stay perched on root branches. Where are you at will you pay the price for shipping?

PS i forgot there about 10.00 a lb at most of our bait shops around here look into that.
