HELP....HELP.....I'm in the middle

Help...
I'm in the middle of setting up my 55 gallon tank, should I put the heater next to the fiter or on the other end...or does it matter.

I have my heater near my filters output. I figure it helps push the warmer water around the tank.

i just put it in the middle completely submerged at an angle

Mine is right below the intake for the filter lengthwise and it seems to stay at a reliable temperature. 76-78

At the intake or output of the filter works nicely. You'll make sure the water gets circulated that way and doesn't stick in one spot.

I do the same in my community tank. My heater is next to my HOB intake tube, figuring the warmest water is going through the hob to be circulated.

just set up my new 37 gallon. put the heater next to the intake tube of one of my filters, it its working great to keep the entire tank at a good 79º
