My lemon jake pair had babies...there are at least 11 of the little
guys they are soo cute. So should I try to move the mother and babies
or just the babies or will they be ok...I have three pair total in my
120 gallon tank but I don't want them to be eaten...
whats the suggestion on feedings and how do I get food down to the
babies and when i feed them the other three come over to try and eat
the babies...

Help please...This is my first cichlid baby experience:omg:

I think you have to move the babies to another tank so that not to be eaten (even by their mother)...

thanks any more help is appreciated

Thanks! Right now she semms to be chasing off the other three fish...But she will or could start eating them. So far I have been able to catch 7 and place into a breeder holder and I haven't been able to catch the last few yet.

Good luck Ocean Breeze and please when you have the chance, take photos for your new babies..
