Help, I have bubbles on my rocks!!!!

I have bubbles on my rock, quite a lot of them. What could this be.
I will post a pic when the camera batteries are charged up.

Is there any slime algae or anything holding onto these bubbles?

yep, its like a thin layer of brownish looking slime.

Yes that looks like it.
Sounds bad.
I have lost a couple of snails recently,could this be the problem for them?
Activated carbon and reduced lighting then?
The sun shines through the window on the tank during the afternoon also, should i turn the blinds to shade it?
