Help ID a frog?

There's no harm in asking questions. :)

Normal room temperature should be fine for your frog. Just make sure you don't have the tank next to a window where direct sunlight could cook your frog

The humidity in the tank should be fine. As long as the tank has plenty of water in it you won't have to worry about that.

As for crickets drowning, well that can be a problem. The best thing to do is to drop them in one at a time when your frog is hungry so it can eat them before they drown. Better to have one drown than a whole dozen dropped in when the frog isn't hungry.

You could make a pretty cool paludarium for the frog. They will spend time on land hidden in plants. So something for it to hide among would be nice. You can also add floating water plants for it to rest in as well such as hornwort and anacharis.

That looks like legendarygecko's frog got ran over. I think that frog I gave him is a bullfrog.

I'm pretty positive it's a Green Frog. An easy way to tell the two species apart is to look for a pair of dorsal ridges running down either side of the back. Bull Frogs lack the dorsal ridges.

:hi: Hi, I just wanted to say I also work at PetSmart and we get in tadpole's all the time with our feeders. We just recently got in a few of them and I took some, here is a pic of the ones we usually get in, not sure if its the same as your little guy tho.
